Montville Soccer Association – Travel Soccer Tryouts for Fall 2025; Spring 2026 - Registration OPEN

PLEASE READ AS TRYOUTS ARE ON SATURDAY and WEDNESDAY and ARE ONE HOUR. ALL U9 PARENTS - MAKE SURE TO READ COMPLETE EMAIL AS AN ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE

Saturday May 3rd 

Community Park 

•            Next Year’s U9 (birth year 2017 & 2018) & Next Year’s U10 (birth year 2016) 9:00am – 10:00am (Registration starts at 8:15 am)

•            Next Year’s U11 (birth year 2015) & Next Year’s U12 (birth year 2014) 10:15am – 11:15am (Registration starts at 9:30 am)

•            Next Year’s U13 (birth year 2013) & Next Year’s U14/U15* (birth year 2012/2011*) 11:30am – 12:30pm (Registration starts at 10:45 am)

Wednesday May 7th

Community Park 

•            Next Year’s U9 (birth year 2017 & 2018) & Next Year’s U10 (birth year 2016) 6:00pm – 7:00pm (Registration starts at 5:30 pm)

•            Next Year’s U11 (birth year 2015) & Next Year’s U12 (birth year 2014) 7:15pm – 8:15pm (Registration starts at 6:45 pm)

•            Next Year’s U13 (birth year 2013) & Next Year’s U14/U15* (birth year 2012/2011*) 8:30pm – 9:30pm (Registration starts at 8:00 pm)

*U15 – 8th graders only, formation of a U15 team will depend upon turnout.

Rain Date (if needed) Saturday May 10th

Candidates are recommended to attend both tryouts but must attend one tryout.

Soccer cleats & shin guards mandatory

Register ASAP to avoid price increases; price changes from $25 to $50 starting April 1st. Registration for tryouts will close on April 25th. After that date, anyone interested in trying out will be a walk up registration on the day of tryouts.

Walk ups are welcome, however will cost $75 PER CHILD registering. No exceptions.

NEW FOR MSA TRYOUTS - ALL U9 players (boys and girls) are invited to take part in a pre-tryout training session on April 27th. This session will be run by a certified soccer trainer and will be attended by some MSA coaches. This will provide potential MSA U9 travel players the opportunity to experience a practice before tryouts as well as be evaluated by some MSA coaches. All potential U9 players that attend this training session MUST be registered to try out in order to be eligible to attend. There will be no walk-ups for this session.

Step 2: In The Upper Right Corner of the page, click either Log In (Existing Account) or Register (First Time User). Existing Accounts may prompt you to reset your password and then verify your account by sending you an email.

Step 3: Click on the "Available Programs" tab.

Step 4: Select the Program that Aligns to your Child's Birth Year so they are slotted with the right group during tryouts.

Step 5: Please fill out the required details for your child to register and upload a copy of their birth certificate.

Step 6: Add Payment Details ($25 Fee to Try Out)

Important Note: You can register one age group higher than your child’s current age. If you try out for an older team and do not make the team, you will not be automatically placed in your child's current age group.

Montville Soccer Association is dedicated to the youth of Montville Township. The Goal of this association is to develop, administer, and instruct players and coaches in the progression of youth soccer. The association is committed to teaching the skills associated with soccer as well as teaching and emphasizing the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. It is the desire of the program that each player’s association with the program be a positive experience. The administrators of the program, coaches and parents should always keep in mind that the Kids Come First.
